Material Screening

Mobile Screening Service

What is Screening?
Screening is the separation of material into 2 or more different sized products. The material is separated by passing it through a trommel which has a specifically sized screen, or mesh, which the material falls through like a sieve. The material falls onto attached conveyors which stock pile the end products. The end products can then be used in the landscaping, building, and construction industries.

The screening and separation of construction waste, aggregate, soil, compost, sand, and most any loose bulk material can be economical.  Screening separates the feed material into different size products.  Our double deck plant can produce 2 products in one pass.  The feed material is loaded with an excavator or loader and our high production mobile screening unit does all the work.

Screening is simple and very cost effective.  Rough soil can be turned instantly into screened top soil.  Land clearing waste can be converted into a valuable soil amendment.  Screening rock, concrete, or asphalt will improve the gradation of the product and could eliminate or reduce the amount of crushing required.

How Much Does it Cost?

Our machine can be set up in as little as 15 minutes.  We charge for mobilization of equipment and then an hourly rate for the screening unit and any other equipment we bring to the site.  If you provide equipment for feeding the unit, we will only charge for the screening unit and operator.  We have the capability to process up to 200 cubic yards per hour, combined with our efficient crew, your cost per unit can be very low.

Debagging

Our specialty debagging equipment can remove sand or other material from most bags.  We can perform the operations at your site or ours.

Material in the bags will be stacked in piles ready to be reused or recycled.  Bags will go into a separate pile or directly into a dumpster ready for proper disposal.

Production rates vary based on material and moisture content.
